The Internship Role: Assistant Laboratory Engineer
The main activities involve the following:
• Installation of pressure taps to the 3D printed study models for testing
• Operate foam CNC machines to generate massing models of the surrounding buildings
• Operate a large format printer

The Candidate:
The candidate is to be sought from one of the following:
• Recent Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering graduate or post-graduate (preferably); or
• Recent Civil or Aeronautical engineer graduate; or
• UTS Undergraduate seeking a 6-month internship
• Must be available for a 6-month internship

Training will be provided. However, it is expected that the candidate will have the following minimum skills:
• Ability to interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings
• Experience in the use of handheld power tools
• Excellent level of communication, both written and spoken

Hours and Remuneration:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 40hours per week.
$24 per hour incl. super.
This is a 5-month fixed-term appointment.
High-performing engineers would be offered EMPLOYMENT effective from the end of the above term.
