I chose Australia as it is a culturally diverse country where everyone is treated equally. I am fortunate that this opportunity I got in the hospitality industry has helped me become more independent and gain theoretical and practical skills

One of the challenges I have faced is the weather. It’s very unpredictable, which took me a while to get used to. The Australian accent is also a big challenge for me. I could not communicate well with customers at the beginning. Although there were a few obstacles, I have learned a lot through this internship. I was instructed with all the information about drink and food menu, table handling and order taking. I also luckily joined such an energetic and encouraging team, who always helped me in every step of my job.

From the start, Australian Internships has provided me with all essential information and guidance about required documents in Australia, such as TFN number, RSA course, opening a bank account, etc. I really appreciated their support. This internship has been a great experience for me.
