Metallurgy Engineering Intern - Sydney

Description of tasks:
• The intern will be exposed to all processes involved in the metal manufacturing of our products.
• Training and responsibilities include working with the Furnace crew, a variety of laboratory testing to ensure the product meets alloy specifications, analysis, and technical report writing.
• They will also form an integral part of our quality and continuous improvement team – reviewing and updating standard procedures, assisting in the weekly casting schedule, and investigating spoilt work to prevent re-occurrence.
• Ideally, the intern will be looking for a career in metal manufacturing or heavy industry.

Host Organisation: It is operating for over 100 years the host organisation is present in metallurgy, metals and mining, manufacturing, building materials, etc.
